		<description>Detective are searching for a Modesto mother of two, Susana Torres (32, Modesto), who was kidnapped at gunpoint by her estranged husband on Sunday, 04/11/21 in the evening. The suspect, Javier Chavez (41, Modesto), is believed to have fled to Mexico.

During the investigation, detectives learned that Chavez had abducted Torres and the two children at gunpoint outside of a market in the 600 block of Butte Avenue in Modesto at around 5:30 PM Sunday evening.

Chavez dropped off both children, ages 9 and 2, at his parent's house around 10:00 PM Sunday evening. When Chavez did not return to pick up the children the next morning, his parents went to Torres' parents' house where it was discovered that Torres was missing.

At the time of the kidnapping, Torres had a restraining order against Chavez, and he was wanted by Modesto Police Department for charges of spousal rape. An arrest warrant has been issued for Chavez for kidnapping.</description>

On April 07, 2021, between 3:00 am and 4:00 am, two males were captured on several Ring cameras checking door handles to vehicles. This occurred at multiple locations in the City of Hughson. The suspects found unlocked vehicles and stole miscellaneous items.

Suspect #1: Appears to be in his mid to late 20s, wearing a black jacket, black hat, gray shorts, and red gloves. 

Suspect #2: Appears to be in his mid to late 20s, wearing a black hat, white t-shirt, black jacket, gray shorts, and black shoes.

The suspect has short cut hair with a goatee. This suspect has been targeting Target stores and repeatedly stealing items from their stores. When confronted by loss prevention officers the suspect pushed the officer away and fled with store merchandise. The suspect was wearing a blue polo shirt and teal shorts and sandals. The suspect is wanted for robbery.</description>

Detectives on this case have additional information regarding the vehicle that was involved in this shooting. The suspect vehicle has been identified as a blue Honda sedan.

The Sheriff's Department is looking for the help of the community in this unsolved murder.
During the evening hours of February 17, 2015 a 911 call came in around 8:30 p.m. after passerby saw the victims truck being driven erratically before crashing on the shoulder of Santa Fe Avenue near Berkeley Avenue. 
The driver was identified as Steven Losey, 25 years old and was found suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

		<description>On 03/19/19 at approximately 0342, Modesto Police officers were dispatched to the Stop N Save at 2549 Yosemite Blvd. to investigate a robbery. At approximately 0320 hours, a Black male adult approximately 5 foot 7 inches tall, and thin build, entered the store wearing a solid burgundy zip up jacket with a hood, camouflage sweatpants, and a light blue cloth around his face covering everything below his eyes. The suspect (S1) ran into the Stop N Save and pretended to act like he was robbing the business. He then pulled his mask down, shook hands with the victim clerk asking if the clerk remembered his name. The clerk did not remember S1s name and S1 told him his name was Shooter. While S1 was talking with the clerk, S2 (unknown) stood lookout at the front door. S1 then left and within a few seconds, returned with his mask back over his face. S1 demanded money from the clerk and the register. The clerk told S1 there was no money inside the cash register. S1 then jumped on the counter, jumped back down, and walked behind the counter where the register was. S1 pulled the register from the shelf and fled with it.</description>

		<description>On 2/17/19, a little after midnight, a female in her early 20s was walking to her vehicle in the area of 10th and L Streets in downtown Modesto. She was talking on her phone as she unlocked her car, when the two individuals pictured, attacked her from behind striking her in the face. The suspects pulled the victim&#8217;s backpack off her back and took her purse from inside the backpack. The suspects fled in the pictured vehicle, which appears to be a Ford Mustang with a tail fin on the trunk. The car has front end damage and the driver&#8217;s side headlight is out. Police need your help in locating and identifying these individuals. 

UPDATE: The suspect with the short hair has been identified as Dequwan Linnear and was arrested in San Joaquin County on a separate case. The suspect with the dreadlocks is still outstanding.</description>
