In April of 2017, Ceres Police Detectives began investigating a case of child molestation. During their investigation, they discovered that the suspect, identified as Bounmy Jeff Sidouang 45 Yrs. of Modesto, was sending inappropriate text messages to a 14 yr old female. The texting lead to an inappropriate relationship that lasted approximately six months when it was discovered by a family member. Bounmy Sidouang has avoided investigators and it is possible he may have fled the area. He was last known to drive a black Honda or Acura style vehicle with out of states plates. Bounmy Sidouang has a violent criminal history and should not be approached. Stanislaus County Sheriff's Detectives are looking to locate this individual. Robert Shane Piatt, 58 years old, has warrants for continuous sexual abuse of children under the age of 14 years old and under the age of 10 years old. Piatt was last seen driving a 70's model Dodge Executive Motor Home, white with green trim, like the one pictured. Piatt is known to frequent the Keyes, Modesto and Oakdale area.

Modesto Police Department are looking for your help in locating these two suspects. Brandon Brockett and Krystal Steeley went to the World of Wheels bike shop on Standiford Ave. Steeley waited in the car while Brockett went inside and selected a $2000 bike. Brockett rode the bike to the waiting car and loaded it. Steeley drove away while an employee was trying to grab the bike out of the trunk of the car.

Modesto Police Detectives are looking for your help in locating this suspect. Sureno gang member, David Cecilio Soto 26 yrs of Modesto, is wanted in connection with the murder of 13-year-old Brisa Covarrubias that occurred in May on Pelton Avenue.

Modesto Police Department Detectives continue their investigation into the shooting death of an adult man near Pequeno and Wilson Avenues. At about 4:30 am on July 24, 2016, officers responded to a 9-1-1 call of a man down in the roadway. Once on scene, emergency personnel found Hughson resident, 35-year-old Gregory Pimentel, who had been shot. Lifesaving measures were administered, but Pimentel succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Detectives believe suspect, 29-year-old Eduardo Lopez of Ceres, shot Pimentel while in front of a residence in the 200 block of Wilson Avenue, following an argument. Pimentel ran to the 900 block of Pequeno Avenue where he was found by emergency personnel. Lopez fled from the area prior to police arrival. Detectives are actively investigating the details leading up to the shooting and have issued a warrant for Lopezs arrest. Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department is looking for help from the community in locating this suspect. He is wanted for kidnapping, rape and criminal threats.

Ceres Police are asking for assistance in locating these two men wanted for Murder. On 12/26/2014 several members of a street gang known as 'DSSM Norteno' were involved in a bar fight where the suspect was shot and killed. These two men have been identified as the suspects.
