The Stanislaus County Sheriff's Office

Detective are searching for a Modesto mother of two, Susana Torres (32, Modesto), who was kidnapped at gunpoint by her estranged husband on Sunday, 04/11/21 in the evening. The suspect, Javier Chavez (41, Modesto), is believed to have fled to Mexico. During the investigation, detectives learned that Chavez had abducted Torres and the two children at gunpoint outside of a market in the 600 block of Butte Avenue in Modesto at around 5:30 PM Sunday evening. Chavez dropped off both children, ages 9 and 2, at his parent's house around 10:00 PM Sunday evening. When Chavez did not return to pick up the children the next morning, his parents went to Torres' parents' house where it was discovered that Torres was missing. At the time of the kidnapping, Torres had a restraining order against Chavez, and he was wanted by Modesto Police Department for charges of spousal rape. An arrest warrant has been issued for Chavez for kidnapping.

The Hughson Police Services

The Hughson Police Services are requesting assistance from the public in identifying these two suspects. On April 07, 2021, between 3:00 am and 4:00 am, two males were captured on several Ring cameras checking door handles to vehicles. This occurred at multiple locations in the City of Hughson. The suspects found unlocked vehicles and stole miscellaneous items. Suspect #1: Appears to be in his mid to late 20s, wearing a black jacket, black hat, gray shorts, and red gloves. Suspect #2: Appears to be in his mid to late 20s, wearing a black hat, white t-shirt, black jacket, gray shorts, and black shoes.

The Turlock Police Department

The male suspect robbed CVS at knifepoint on Thursday, March 4th, 2021 at approximately 8:30 PM. The suspect is described wit a slim build, standing between 5'07"-5'08" at approximately 140lbs, and black hair. The suspect was wearing a black Nor Cal Sweatshirt with a bear on it and a black baseball hat.

The Turlock Police Department is requesting the public's assistance in locating a suspect vehicle that fled the scene of a collision involving a bicyclist on N. Front Street near the intersection of Almond Avenue in Turlock, on Saturday, March 6th, 2021 at 7:17 PM. The suspect vehicle is a gray/charcoal Mercedes sedan with moderate front and/or side damage consistent with the collision. The suspect may be seeking repair at an auto body shop. This subject is suspected of robbery at gun point at the Chevron Gas station located on 3037 Sisk Rd., Modesto. He wore a black hoodie with blue and red writing on the front, black belt, black and gray face mask, and black pants. He also wore a black bag over his shoulder with multi-colored writing on the bottom. The Suspect and his accomplice drove a newer charcoal gray Jeep Cherokee.
