Escalon Police Department

On 6/22/17 at approximately 3 pm, this subject attempted to break into a change machine at Laundry Day in Escalon. The subject also tampered with wires in the ceiling, possibly attempting to cut the wires to the camera system, and spray painted over the lens of the video surveillance cameras.

The CHP is looking for your assistance.

On 04/22/17, at approximately 4:31 am, a multiple vehicle collision occurred in the area of southbound 99 and Main St. in Ripon. During the collision, one party sustained fatal injuries. One of the involved vehicles fled the scene traveling southbound on 99. A large piece of vehicle body plastic was found at the scene. Through our investigation, we were able to the determine that the piece of body plastic belongs to a 2010-2013 Dodge Caravan or Grand Caravan. The color of the vehicle is dark charcoal. The body plastic piece came from the front bumper assembly, so our suspect vehicle would have damage to its right, front section. The photo below is of a similar looking vehicle.

Ceres Police Department

On 06/03/17, at about 2:30 pm three male suspects wearing hoodie sweatshirts entered Richland Liquors located at 1805 Richland Ave. in Ceres and robbed the store clerk at gunpoint. The first suspect came into the store and pointed a black handgun at the clerk as he jumped over the counter and demanded the money from the cash register. The second suspect also jumped over the counter and assisted in the robbery. At the same time the third suspect stole several bottles of alcohol and cigarettes. All three suspects then left the store on foot. One suspect is believed to be Black or Hispanic the other two suspects could possibly be white.

On 3/21/17 Deputies were dispatched to a robbery at the Corporate Cellular store located at 527 Paradise Road in Modesto. The suspect entered the store and attempted to take the victims cellphone. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, early 30s, approximately 5 feet 10 inches and approximately 190 lbs. The suspect was wearing a black t-shirt and blue jeans. The Stanislaus County Sheriffs Department is asking for the publics assistance.

On 4/03/17 Deputies were dispatched to a robbery at the Sunrise Tobacco Store located at 813 Paradise Road in Modesto. The two suspects entered the store and robbed the victim at gun point. The first suspect is described as a Hispanic male, between 20 and 30 years of age, approximately 5 feet 10 inches, and approximately 230 lbs. He was wearing a black shirt, with a blue long sleeve shirt underneath, blue jeans and white shoes. He also had what appeared to be a blue tattoo on the top portion of his right hand that depicted a skeletal system. The second suspect was described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5 feet 8 inches, and approximately 180 lbs. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and gray Nike shoes. Modesto Police Department

On 05/10/17, at 11:00 am, 4 suspects entered the Apple Store at the Vintage Faire Mall. The suspects stole various items of merchandise. They fled to their getaway vehicle, Early 2000s Audi A4, Champagne color, which was doubled parked approximately 40 yards from the entrance. The suspect description is as follows: Suspect #1: Black Male, 17-23 years, 5-09, thin build. Dark Nike BB Hat, Dark Hooded Sweat Shirt, Dark Colored Pant, White Shoes Suspect #2: Black Male, 18-23 years, 6-00, thin build. Dark colored Addidas sweat shirt. This suspect appears to have a tattoo on his left hand. Suspect #3: Black Male, 17-20 years, 5-07, thin build. Burgundy hooded sweat shirt, gray sweat pants, black shoes Suspect #4: Black Male, 18-23 years, 6-02, thin build. Black hooded sweat jacket, black pants.
