The Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department is looking for the public's help and asking anybody with information about the homicide of Rachel Ortega that occurred in the 500 Block of Briggs Avenue in Modesto on July 21, 2013 to contact Detective David Hickman at (209) 525-7042 at the Stanislaus County Sheriffs Department. A male subject that was wanted for questioning has been questioned and there are no leads at this time.

Stanislaus Sheriffs Dept is attempting to identify the two persons shown here. On 4-7-2015 the two subjects shown used the victims social security number to purchase over $1300 worth of merchandise from the Best Buy in Riverbank. The subjects are wanted for grand theft and identity theft.

Oakdale Police are asking for any information on the theft of 2300 gallons of diesel fuel from WH Breshears at 1313 S. Yosemite Ave Oakdale on 5-4-15. The theft occurred between midnight and 0345 hrs. The suspect(s) used a semi-tractor trailer rig. The loss was valued at $7800.

Modesto Police are attempting to identify the female shown here.On 10/21/14 at 0954 hours, the store manager of Sallys Beauty Supply saw the suspect inside the store and appeared to be concealing object(s) inside her clothing. The manager confronted the suspect for suspicion of theft. The suspect denied stealing any merchandise. Suspect pushed manager out of the way and fled the store. The manager took a photograph of the suspect with his cell phone as she fled the store.

Modesto Police are looking for information on the bike shown that was stolen. This bike is designed for special needs and is the owner's only means of transportation. It is a Trek Brand Ticycle/silver with 2 green stickers. It's value is approx. $2000.

The Stanislaus Sheriff's office is asking assistance in identifying the responsible in an armed robbery. A Hispanic male adult or light complected Black male adult entered the store wearing a black 49ers beanie, black coat, blue jeans, black shoes described as approximately 5'08 approached the front counter.The responsible pulled out money from his pocket and placed them on the counter. The Robber pulled a black revolver with brown grips from his pocket and leaned over on the counter.

MODESTO Police are looking for information on who committed a murder on July 14, 2014 in a house in the 100 blk of I st in Modesto. Robert ROSS was found deceased in his home after family members went to check on him. Neighbors reported last seeing him on Saturday, July 12th. The circumstances behind the cause of death are still under investigation; however, at this time detectives have ruled it a homicide. Modesto Police are trying to identify the male shown in video surveillance shown here On 10-30-2014 at 0448am the Suspect burglarized Las Casuelas Mexican Restaurant at 4120 Dale Rd. On 10-30-2014 around 5:15am the suspect again burglarized La Parilla Restaurant in McHenry Village in Modesto. The suspect is described as Hispanic male 25-30 5ft7 and weighing approx 150 lbs possibly black hair. If you know who he is please call our hotline.
