Felony Hit & RunModesto Police are asking for the public's assistance on a hit and run that left a man dead On Friday morning January 6th 2012 around 6:40 AM. Several citizens called in reporting an elderly bicyclist being hit by a white colored pickup truck at the intersection of Sutter Ave and Rouse Ave. The male bicyclist Ray Rogers 67 years was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injures. Before emergency personnel or law enforcement arrived at the scene, the white colored pick up truck left the scene of the collision. The Modesto Police Department is looking for a white colored pick up truck that may have been in the area of Sutter Ave and Rouse Ave during around 6:40 am.The vehicle may possibly have some minor to moderate damage to the front end bumper area of the truck. The white pick up truck may also have briefly stopped in the area of Rouse Ave near Leon Ave and Colorado Ave. If you witnessed the accident or have information on the white truck please contact Crime Stoppers. |

Ceres Police is asking for assistance in identifying a suspect in a series of burglaries. The male shown has been HMA breaking into laundry room change machines at 1625 Richland, Ceres. Burglaries have occurred to the laundry vending machines @ 1625 Richland in the past several months. If you know his identity please call. |

HomicideStanislaus Sheriffs Department are asking for assistance from the public on a homicide that occurred on August 22, 2011. The Homicide occurred at the intersection of Hatch & Crowslanding Roads during rush hour. Oakdale PoliceOn 08/09/11 a 72 year old female was robbed in her apartment in Oakdale. An unknown male entered her residence removing property from her apartment. Victim is blind and believes the suspect entered through an unlocked door. Victim was hit by the suspect during the robbery. Suspect was only described as a large male wearing dark clothing. Stanislaus Sheriff's Dept is investigating an attempted Homicide that occurred on 07/02/2011 around 1030pm @ Zerillo Park in Riverbank. Three male suspects were involved in the incident. Suspect's are described as 1: White male 5'04/130lb. Suspect #2 is a White male/5'06/160 lbs & Suspect #3 is a black male 5'10 170 lbs. All suspects were wearing black BB caps, black t-shirts and black pants, all wearing black/white bandana's over their faces. Only the first suspect was armed and fired at victim hitting the car the victim was in then striking the victim. Suspects were seen getting out of a vehicle described as SUV type, white, about 2000 year, similar to a Ford Aerostar or Toyota SUV. |

On 07/06/2011 a Modesto Check & Go store @ 1717 Oakdale Rd was robbed at gunpoint. The suspect was described as a black male in his 20s. |

Escalon PoliceEscalon Police are asking for assistance in identifying the man responsible for shooting an Escalon Police Officer. On June 21, 2011 an Escalon Police Officer Shane Johnson was on routine patrol checking businesses in the 2100 block of Jackson Avenue after a rash of commercial Escalon Police Chief James Shaw said the officer spotted a man in an alley behind the businesses and stopped to investigate. Upon contacting the suspect a struggle ensued between the suspect and the officer with the officer being shot. The officer is recovering from his injury. The suspect(shown in sketch)is described as possibly Latino, more than 6 feet tall, with dark eyes, curly, medium-length hair and possibly facial hair. He was last seen wearing knit gloves, a long-sleeved black hooded sweat shirt, blue jeans and white athletic shoes. |

Antonios Bar EmpireStanislaus County Sheriff's Department is investigating the Homicide of Mark Allen McRorie, that occurred on 3/06/10 at approximately 1140pm. McRorie was confronted by two male subjects in the parking lot of Antonio's Bar. During the altercation, McRorie was stabbed by at least one of the subjects and later died from his injuries. The suspect were seen leaving the area in a older model 4dr sedan, possibly gray or silver in color. The two men shown here in video stills are suspects in the case. |
